Upgrading My PC -Please Help!!?
I am currently looking to upgrade my computer and was wondering if anyone knew anything about custom builds?
I will be purchasing all my parts from msy (see price list: http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf)
to begin with - AMD or Intel - after doing a bit of research Intel seems the way to go but still not 100% sure. i am currently tossing up 2 designs and was wondering which you would choose. i am probably only looking at doing my sound editing / creating and a bit of gaming now and then ;D
Design 1:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-890fsx UD5
Processor: Phenon II X6 1100T (Black Edition)
VGA: HIS 6790 (1GB)
RAM: 8GB Kingston Hyper X (2x4GB)
ROM: WD Caviar Black 1 TB
Design 2:
Processor: Core i5-2500K
Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Deluxe
VGA: ASUS GTX550Ti (1gb)
RAM: Ripjaw X 1600 DDR3 8 GB (2x4GB)
ROM: WD Caviar Blue 1TB
I was thinking of putting them in a Raidmax Ninja Case with an ION 2+ 600N PS but not 100% sure if thats the way to go
I am trying to keep this project as cheap as i can preferably under $1000 incl. case and PS.
i have also been recomended to maybe check out the AsRock Extreme 4 Z68 as a cheeper alternative but not to sure about AsRock as i havent had much experience with them.
