Computer Turns off

My Dad's computer which has a fresh install of windows xp keeps turning off after a few minutes. Now I checked the cpu temps and they are perfectly fine. All my drivers are current and most components in the system are only 6 months old. Could a PSU be the problem? Its a 430 watt coolermaster that I got for about $50. Its powering a 8800 GTS.

Yeah, a PSU could cause that.
