computer turns off after a few minutes

please help me troubleshoot this.

i got a new case and transfered all my components to it. afterwards, my computer turns off after about 5 minutes of use. i transfered everything back to the old case, yet the problem persists. i assume this is due to over heating? but all my fans (psu, gpu, cpu, and chasis) appear to be running fine...

also, i'm not sure about this, because its only happened once (maybe twice), but it might make some sort of odd "door-bellish" chime when i first turn it on (prior to bios prompt)

i assume i damaged something during the transfers?

Make sure fan is seated correctly on CPU. Make sure you use Arctic Silver (CPU heat spreader) on CPU or use thermal pad that came with cpu cooler. Replace CPU cooler. It sure sounds like heat. Look in BIOS for shut off temps and look at log.
