Computer too hot in desk compartment?

I recently bought a computer desk that has a compartment large enough to put my CPU in. My concern is that the system may become too hot due to lack of proper air flow when I shut the door. Does anyone have any advice? I would appreciate any suggestions and thank you in advance.

I leave the door open on my desk cabinet because my Fong-Kai 320 is to large for the door to close.I also took a drill with a 2 inch boring bit and reamed holes in the back of the compartment. My duron 600@969 runs at 40C while surfing.

Yeah, I wouldn't leave it in there with the door closed without any type of ventilation.

Drill a couple holes for 120mm fans, and make em run @5/7V. And rmove the side panels of your case.

Just leave the front door open or take it off. Also make sure the back of the compartment is not blocked to allow for exhaust.

Heh, I built a customer a computer and they kept it in a closed compartment desk. It was constantly overheating and being unstable, so I told them to leave the door open. Even with the door open, it was still quite hot.
