My computer for the last month has kept freezing on me. I thought it was a hard drive problem, but it turns out that wasn't the case. So my next thought was that maybe the computer was getting to hot.

What should my computer temp be?
Bios?

Thanks for any help you can give

Depends on the processor. Generally, Athlons will run hotter than Pentiums, although AMD is trying to cool down their processors with every core upgrade, it's still slightly hotter. What kind of mobo do you have? Processor?

On this box, (AMD 800 tbird) chip is at 45c and mobo is at 28c. Computer has been on for about 2.5 hours of continuous use. AMD states the chip can handle up to 90c but i would get worried if it goes up to 70c.
