computer temp

my computer runs at like 42C idle and at 52C during hours of gaming. What should it run at and other than cable management what is another way to get more air flow into the case?? I have the antec p-160 case so it has 1 120mm fan in the front and 1 120mm fan in the back. I have the silent boost HSF.

Those temps seem ok to me - if you really want to reduce the temps you could get a fan which takes up a PCI slot and draws hot air out of the case

yeah 42/52 are pretty nice temps to begin with.
if the case supports, add more case fans.
other than that, make sure both case fans are blowing in opposite directions

Your temps are in line with my Antec Sonata Case and AMD Barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ with the stock air cooling. I haven't had any problems with the system after about a year of use.

my xp2800 is running at 49c idle with a stock fan and about 54c under a full load. start worrying once you hit that 60+ mark 🙂
