I know geeksquad is suppose to be filled with retards but do you think rent-a-geek employs more competent employees?

Evening Tech

Hours are from 5:00 PM until the "bench" is clear. You must be capable of working unsupervised in the evenings and be available Saturdays during normal business hours.

Your primary objective is to complete the daily backlog of PCs and equipment to be ready for customer pick-up the following day. You must be an independent self-starter accountable for results. Compensation is based on productivity.

Your technical skills are exceptional, and you are ready to take those skills to the next level
^What is exceptional?

Not that I necessarily want to work at these places but I happen to see a rentageek car by where I live (not canada) so when i found out they are a canadian company, it was a bit wierd.

it's a copycat of Nerds On Site.

NOS requires you to pay them $2500 upfront, and they push you to buy your own red volkswagen so they can put their logo on it. Also you're a contractor.

I assume this works in a similar way

Does anyone else find this "Geeksquad" "Rent a Geek" and "Nerds on site" theme to be offensive?

I mean think about it, if you had "Rent a token black guy" as a token black friend rental service wouldn't there be all kinds of crap from it?

I love computers, I OWN a successful computer repair shop, and I don't resort to cheap gimmicks like this.

This video is just sad.....what's even more sad is the fact that I caught discrepancies in the song.....yes I'm ashamed.
