Any techies here that are or have been computer systems analyst? I have to interview (5-10 mins) a systems analyst for a class. I know that's a broad title but that's what listed in our career catalog and my professor won't let me choose a more specific career under the umbrella.

Thanks in advance AT members!

That is one of the most broad titles in all IT. At a previous job I had that exact title. I supported windows 2000 networks, installed servers, built software packages for automatic deployment, did VB6 programming, created access databases et al. Depending on the size of the organization you could have many responsbilities or just a few. Good luck.

Current title is "Senior LAN Analyst" but I'll bet it's about the same thing...we do anything and everything just short of cleaning the toilets, though that might be added at some point.

Yeah, I know I know, but non-technical professor doesn't understand this (headache).
