Computer Stops working after 2 hours of me being afk?

I run seti@home, and if I leave, after about 2 hours i get nothing completed.... My computer does not go to standbye, since I have it disabled. Im running win2k, anyone have any ideas of what my comp is doing?

Depending on what board you have, it might be APM, rather than ACPI that shuts down your PC.

Esp. with W2K make sure that APM is turned off in the BIOS, W2K doesn't get along with APM well at all.

Other than the "idle" shutdown, your system runs stabily, yes? No unexpected reboots under heavy load or anything?

Some more system specs pls :).

asus a7v133
1.33ghz axia @1.33 (ill oc it soon)
win2k
256 pc 133 cas 3 :(
gforce2 mx


It runs stable all the time... I never have had a stability problem...
I cant think of the last time it has crashed...
need any other info? Im at work now, so ill see about that problem when I get home.
