i currently hvae the FPS 2000 and well the stands on them just dont want to stand up (easy to tip over). are the ba4800 the same way? also do the BA4800s sound much better than FPS2000?

Well, my BA4800's are nice for me, as far as the stands go, the speakers on top of them are pretty heavy which is probably a positive sign since it doesn't feel like a light POS. Anyways, if you bump into them, they'll probably tip over, they don't look like the greatest but they work. With ANY stands you have to be careful anyways. And I've never heard the FPS 2000, but I think most people would agree with me that the BA4800's spank them.
 
LOL, me too! But even sat 140$ I think there the best price/performance your going to get out of "computer speakers".
