Computer Sites....

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking for a good company to buy my newest computer from. I would like say that I'm definetly not going to buy from dell, gateway, ibm, or any of those MAJOR companies. I think most people would know why...Anyways I've been looking at a few sites and just can't find good ones...Can you guys recommend me some? I also definetly prefer if they have some kind of financing option, and I'm definetly looking into getting an AMD. Thanks.

One good company is Alienware (based on what I've heard), but their pcs are quite pricy. If you want to have a great AMD system with a lot of bang for your buck then you might want to consider building one yourself. It really depends on your budget and how much time you have on your hands.

Monarch systems is also generally well-respected. If I had to purchase a prebuilt system for my own use, I might end up buying from them. Less pricey then 'premium' builders like Alienware or Falcon Northwest, but still highly customizable.

I'd strongly recommend building a system on your own, though (it's not hard, and there are a number of excellent guides around). It will be cheaper and better-quality than almost anything you can buy from a retailer, and can be customized to fit your exact needs.

Yeah, buy few parts at a time when they are on sale. So it is almost like financing.
It is also best if you buy it at a local computer store.

Here are a couple of sites that sell computer parts and complete systems Mwave
Ajump

I have not purchase from either company but I have only heard good things about either.

Agreed. Also, ABS is good as well.

Monarch and ABS get pretty good reviews from people around here.
im a huge fan of falcon northwest, for a little extra money- you can get some GORGEOUS cases from them.

Thanks guys, I have a question for "Another Guy". I've heard of that company before, I'd like to talk to you too because their cases and prices are just great. I'm considering on buying from them, I'd like to know how everything with your system is doing right now, how everything shipped, if you got any problems, etc. Also guys what I mean by "financing" is, like for example dell has this thing where you can apply for credit and they will check if you are eligible to get the whole computer and instead of paying one whole lump sum, you can pay monthly to pay off the computer. I know Dell and falcon northwest has something like this.
