My computer has been shutting off randomly for apparently no reason, it doesn't freeze or anything like that, or reboot.

it's a hard shutoff

I've recently changed the powersupply to a coolermaster 400w, but i don't think it's that since i've been using it for some 2 months stable. I thought it may be my ram since it was overclocked to 3200 from 3000, but it's not that either me thinks

Rig info in Sig
Any help would be appreciated:

Could be a heat issue... or maybe it's your vidcard drivers..

He just said he changed his PSU to a 400 watter

I'm having the same issue with my P4 system (crashes on any game, well, recent), though I'm sure the issue is the 175w PSU that I didn't bother to upgrade (the system was originally a HP Celery 1.8GHz).

You might try upping the RAM voltage one increment.

So i figured at first it was my ram temp, but feeling the heat spreader, it didn't seem warm. My CPU Temperature i believe is within normal (for my motherboard reading). It reads around 57C which is what it reads normally =

Videocard temps? I'm not sure how to check them, but i'm assuming their fine because sometimes i can play WoW for 7 hours, but then i try loading it one time for 10 minutes and it crashes. (my logic could be wrong)
Also i have a Seagate 200giger in my comp, but lately it's been making a LOT of noise when it's seeking, and it's not exactly the best sounding noise, i don't really remember hearing it sound like that.

If it was the PSU, what exactly about the psu would it be? faulty, the psu is overheating (doesn't seem likely)?
I'm going to install the new ATI drivers from a few days ago in a sec, and see if that helps.

update : it's not the video drivers, updated and installed, i'm going to consider plugging in an old PSU that still works and seeing if that changes anything.
