Computer shuts down

I also looked for answers on other forums. NO ONE knows the answer. Control Panel is not the answer. Some how the computer was made to shut down after an hour of no use, the person that did this is no long around.

Some how the engineers at windows 7 had a great idea on how to better find the controls for this, as usual are all wet.

Still looks for the well hidden control that shuts down the computer. The cost of saving energy will never be odd set here. Needless to say It will never be used again.

Press the Windows Logo on keyboard, Type Power Options in the search

Click "change plan settings" on the selected Plan.

Put the Computer to Sleep put it to "never"

Edit: Brings you to the same place as Post #2

Go to control panel. In the upper right hand corner, type "power" into the search window. Under power options is the control you need.

Control panel. choose power option.then on the left side.choose when to turn off the display.change when the computer sleeps.

Doesn't work? Assuming the bios settings are all correct. Then click on control panel -> Hardware and Sound-> Power Option-> Change plan settings (and possibly advanced settings to tweak it further).

Check the power options in the BIOS. In the control panel, you may want to change power settings to default for the power plan you are using. Then customize to your liking.
