why? its already been determined that its the Seasonic internals in this line of psus that are not capable of running properly on the batteries of some ups models.

there is nothing to troubleshoot. now I have to determine if I should get a new psu or new ups. either way its ridiculous that I have to spend more of my own money for something that was not my fault.

A crappy power factor makes it a lot more difficult for the UPS.

The Seasonic I have that was paired with a Cyberpower which did the same thing is a PCP&C Silencer 750. My Topower that also repro'd the problem is a Mushkin XP-650 (it's now in my primary HTPC). Like I said before, the problem repro'd a couple of times a week, and not a single repro after switching my UPS to APC.

And I have the same PSU that you have in my secondary HTPC, it's been rock solid for the better part of a year.

If I had to do it again, I'd definitely get a new UPS, and keep my Seasonics.
