look into the windows even viewer to see what happened and when.
 
A hard reboot at the same time every day for no reason is a sure-fire way to tell that a battery is going south. Of course, with BIOS settings, Windows settings, and unlimited software possibilities, this can be something quite difficult to narrow down.
