Hi,
I have a laptop that needs a bunch of repairs before the extended warranty runs out in a month. Usually if I was going to send in a computer for service, I would wipe the hard drive and leave nothing on it but a fresh install of Windows. In this case, I may not be able to. I'm a little concerned about privacy as I have many personal documents on the drive and erm.."stuff" that I may not want others to see. I can imagine many bored computer techs take a bit of time to snoop around computers that they're servicing. Is this something I need to or should worry about?
