i received my motherboard RMA yesterday and now i'm still having the same problem. my computer shuts down randomly. the green power LED flashes and according to the mobo manual, that means that "one of the power connection has been protected". should i switch up the wires from my PSU to my components? or maybe switch my 420W Thermaltake to the default 350W that came with my case? (which i really don't want to do)

my system specs:
AMD AMD64 3000+ 2000MHz
MSI K8T Neo-FSR
1024 MB of Geil DDR PC-3200
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Flashed to XT OC'ed to 450/744
Seagate SATA 120.0 GB @ 7200 RPMS
NEC 8X ND-2500A Flashed to 2510A

edit: my computer was running perfect for about 16 hours. i was downloading a file and burning a cd. i left the house and came back to find my computer shut down.

no, they're good. it was better than my default 350W...i replaced my 350W because i had the problem. i still had the same problem, so i suspected it was the motherboard. one day, my mobo was dead so i RMA'ed it. i'm still having the same problem...so maybe now it's not my motherboard anymore, it's my PSU. that would mean newegg shipped me 3 defective parts for my computer... a defective hard drive, mobo, and PSU. if my computer shuts down twice more, i think i'll switch up the wires and then another 3 strikes, i'll switch to my 350W.
