At first it started to crash 15 minutes into the game, then it starts to crash about an hour - an hour and a half in game. Specs are:
b]Video Card:[/b] Radeon 9800pro
CPU: AMD 3500+ winchester 90nm
Memory: 2gigs of pc-3200 ddr ram (dual 128 mode)
HD: WD 100gig hard drive as primary, sata 378 tx2 plus as slave (game runs on slave). A pin is broken on my primary hard drive could that be it?
Temp: cpu-105F mobo- 91F
Voltage: vcore-1.472 3.3v- 3.376 5v- 5.134 12v- 12.224
AGP settings: Vlink 8X supported- on, AGPmode- on, agp fast write- on, graphics aperture size- 64mb
Memory settings: memclock mode- auto
Dram over 4g remapping- off
bankinterleaving- off
burst length- 8beats
cas lat- auto
trc- auto
trfc- auto
trcd- auto
twr- auto
trwt- auto
tras- auto
trp- auto
twcl- auto

Also i did a memory test, came up with no errors.

I switched power supplies and tried a new one and had the same problem. Any ideas?

ahh sorry, mobo is asus a8v deluxe.

edit: seems like i took out two strips of ram (2 strips of 512X512 are in the blue sockets now) and it fixes the problem. Weird, Do you guys think it is bad ram or a bad mobo?

I noticed more and more RAM slots are picky on new motherboards, if you changed sockets and its the problems are gone then you're fine. I really doubt you could get an RMA on a working board. Sine you ahve 2 512MB sticks, try putting ONE stick in and running your computer for a while in EACH slot to see if the problem goes away, if it does, it's may be likely your motherboard flakes out with more then one stick of RAM. When in doubt reset all your BIOS settings to default and make sure you're not overclocking anything as well just to run it at stock characteristics.

Well, i cant run a stick in just the black slots or 1 blue and 1 black spot or the comp wont post (dual). I am going to try putting two sticks in blue and 1 stick in black. Maybe i should change the bios settings to something else to fix this? The comp seems to freeze/reboot in dual channel only.

edit: I just read you have to lower timings for dual channel to increase stability, but how? What should I set it to?
