Computer PSU: Which is the most powerful?

I don't even know if PCP&C makes any PSUs anymore. They used to make some, and brand others. However, 1) they got a good reputation back in the day, when PCP&C and Enermax were the only way to go to get that MAX overclock, or to survive lightning strikes , and 2) they adjust the rails tighter to what they should be, and make sure the PSUs have far tighter tolerances than most other companies.

Maximum PC is full of sh!t. How are they going to rate the Neopower at a 10. Its horrible all it is is innovative and modular. VOltages are way out of spec it cannot compete nor is it meant to compete with the OCZ and PCP&C.

The Ultra though i still think it is poor quality has shwn time and again it is very capable. I think it should have a 7 or 8 while the PCP&C and the OCZ have 10.

What did you think of their testing criteria? I was impressed with it myself.

However im basing my results on other sights who have rated everything similiarly. Look at any respected online reviewer.

Well i hwould hope you understand that i am skeptical after every single reviewer rates the Neopower horrible and rates the OCZ and PCP&C elite of the elite.

Power is not the only factor you should take into consideration for buying a PSU.

Fortron/Sparkle PSUs are my first choice because (1) they have very stable voltages, (2) they are very quiet and (3) they are fairely priced.

MaximumPC cut the input voltage on the NeoPower down to 60VAC, with a 150W load on the PS...
It held the same voltage on the 12V line as it put out at full input voltage.
To be fair, the PC Power & Cooling PS was the one other PS that was able to pull off that trick also.

Tech-Report didn't rate the NeoPower "horrible". They rated it just under "Editor's Choice Gold".
