Computer Program Crackers - what's up with that?

I am wondering if anyone is or knows a cracker. How do they get so smart? Are they programmers for the companies whose stuff they crack? I mean how do they do it? And so fast?!? So far I've talked to my friends at work and they are all playing WarCraft 3 and Neverwinter Nights or something and it JUST CAME OUT!!!

I'm just wondering if anyone knows, because these people just blow my mind.

Awwww, they're so fast. Wait, no. Plenty of my friends were doing WC3 tourneys back in February or so, and believe me, they didn't all get chosen for beta testing

You just gotta know what you're doing. Hex editing is the key.
