Hello,

When I turn on my computer, the lights on my keyboard dont show up, the monitor signal doesnt come on, no mouse signal....when i open the case I can see that the power supply is running, my 2 hard drives are both working and the heatsink over my proc is spinning. I dont know why there seems to be nothing loading on the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

I dont understand what the problem is because the computer seems to be running but there isnt any signal to the listed devices. I have a Chaintech Mobo Nforce 2, Powmax case that came with the PS, 512 MB of pc2100 ram,

My comp stopped working for some reason. I turned it off tues night and when i came back wednesday after school it didnt work. Hope somebody can give some advice. Thanks

1) confirm that your keyboard is plugged into the purple port and not the green one

2) if it were me, I'd get a known high-quality power supply such as Fortron, Antec or Enermax

Welcome to the Forums, hope that helps :) If not, post the rest of the specs in as much detail as possible.

I hope that the heatsink doesn't really spin, but the fan does. :)
Do you hear any beeps when you turn it on?

Post the rest of your specs. But if it used to work, and now it doesn't work any more, I'm guessing your PowMax power supply went "Pow" on you

Well, whenever you become dissatisfied with the PSU merely spinning its fan, and want a PSU that will make the rest of the computer work too, you might want to go get a new high-quality power supply. ;)
