Computer problem!

I'm assembling the following computer:

Chaintech CT7NIF2
AMD Duron
256 megs of Kingston DDR
Maxtor 40Gb HDD

but it's not working. The computer outputs no video, and refuses to beep, even when I remove the RAM and attempt to turn it on.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

its something with the board. unplug everything from the board, excpet processor and ram. try it. see what happens. if nothing, then reseat your processor and try it again. If it is STILL not posting im affraid to say you most likley have a bad board.

Check around the cpu socket, make sure there are no scratches on the traces. If so, you're SOL unless you have ULTRA l337 soldering skillz like my dad!
