Really? Why? I'd like to help with the "no page file" but I don't know what that is!
If the printer isn't functioning and you don't think you can manually remove them (the cartidges), then take it back to where you bought it and exchange it. Yeah, I know, not much help, huh?

Can't help you with the win 2k problems, but as for the printer, we just had a simiar problem with our not yet 1 year old Lexmark Z42. My wife installed a new black ink cartridge and it just died. She called tech support and they tried to help her get it to work and nothing. Sounds like a similar problem where the cartridges moved all the way to the left and then made a clunk sound and then nothing. Fianlly they agreed to ship us a replacement printer second day air. Have to give kudos to lexmark tech support. Do you have a different cartridge to try? After my wife hung up with tech support, she decided just for the heck of it, to try the old nearly empty cartridge just to see what would happen. Naturally, the printer started working fine with the old cartridge! Perhaps it was just a defective factory lexmark ink cartridge. Anyway the new printer arrived today, and we will try it with the "bad" cartridge (of course the replacement printer shipped without either cartridge installed). But just a thought, try a different ink cartridge in your Epson, if you have one. Maybe you just need to RMA a cartridge.

The printer was acting weird. i unscrewed the case and powered on worked fine. screwed the case back on worked fine, who knows what the problem was.
