I'm still having that optimization issue, the one with the abnormal benchmark scores and frames. I posted that i was only getting a score of about 7800 on 3dmark03, but now i need a different approach. Does anyone know of a place or technical support group that could fix my computer because i've jumped to the conclusion that i can't do it. I can build a computer, but i'm totally software inclined.

Is your cpu overclocked or your graphics card? That score seems in the ballpark for what you are posting at stock speeds. There are perhaps a little low but not too bad. I score 9325 in 3dmark05 but I have a dualcore X2 4400+ at 2730 and a 7800GTX overclocked to 521core and 1414mem.

He said 3dmark03. Wouldn't that fall into the category of terrible?

NOT 3dmark05, i'm talkin bout ((((((3dmark03))))), and yes 7800 is terrible in 3dmark03 especially with the hardware i have.

Wow that score really suxs. Maybe you should reformat and reinstall windoze. You could always take it to your local computer shop and pay them to sort it out for ya.
