Computer only booting up to "Press del for setup" screen

I've been having problems with my computer for about a week now. I think I may need a better/more powerful PSU but even though that may be a problem I was still able to boot up just fine. Well I thought my ethernet port on my mobo went out so I went and got a new nic card. I turned off the computer, installed the card, and booted up. It got stuck at the Asus mobo "Press del for setup" screen. If I press 'del' the next screen pops up and says:

Entering Setup...
Press F8 for BBS popup
Initializing USB controlers... Done

and gets stuck there.

I tried unplugging everything (hdds, dvdroms, removed sound card, removed nic card) then booted up again. Still the same thing.

Any ideas?

Try Clearing the cmos via onboard jumper, or just pull the battery for 5 minutes, then replace it, all this with the power completely off to the computer of course.

If that works, you will need to go into bios and Reconfigure all your settings.

That didnt work at all.

Well, it should have, are you losing video at this point in the boot process, or does it just reboot?
Is the video card getting the right amount of juice, power connector plugged in well to the back of it?

Your post mentions initializing usb controllers, Are you running any usb bootable drives?

Well the asus screen looks just fine so I dont think im losing video. The vid card is plugged in properly. I have an antec 430w psu that some think isnt strong enough, but I dont get why it wouldnt work now after having this system up and running for about a month already.

Im running no usb drives at all.
