1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
new games, but not super demanding ones. ex. tf2 and *looks into the future* Starcraft2 (i pray that it won't to demanding)

2. What YOUR budget is.
trying to keep it to 600 or less shipped

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
USA

4. R u FANBOI!?!
Fanboi of nothing but since I'm overclocking I'm going with intel

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts.
No current parts per se, but using a copy of winxp i already own.

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Overclock for the win!

SO, here we go...

Intel Dual-Core E2180 - $92.99

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L - $109.99

CORSAIR ValueSelect 2 x 1GB PC2 5300 $54.99

SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950PRO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 - $149.99

Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA - $49.99

XCLIO GOODPOWER 500W ATX 500W - $49.99

COOLER MASTER Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP - $49.99 -10 MIB=$39.99

and some LG cd/dvd burner $28.99

shipping = $18.84

Grand total! 605.76 (after MIB comes in it will be 595.76)

Posting this more than anything because I am buying in a week or 2 and just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything obvious.

I picked this cheapo ram because the e2180 has a multiplier of 10 so I figured it will hit its max overclock without ramping up the FSB too much.

Thanks in advance.

I don't like the PSU :p Here's a suggestion: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...29024&Tpk=sonata%2bIII

Case with a good, seasonic OEM, 500w PSU. Case ain't to shabby itself either. You can buy the PSU only, antec earthwatts 500w for 50$ at fry's, if you've got a store near you. And you picked a 512mb videocard, what resolution you playing at? Could save a little money buy going with the 256mb card, especially since you don't play very demanding games. Last but not least, I've seen several mentions of HP ram, which costs 15$ AR for 2gb of ddr2 667mhz. Might be worth looking up on the hot deals forum.
