I am trying to add another external hardrive. When I go to CP, administrative tool, Computer management....the app opens.
I am unable to do anything :-(
I see:
system tools
computer management
services and applications.
I cannot even move the window by dragging the title bar. I cannot select, and have the +expand.
I went to an earlier system restore, ran systemworks, XP error checking...the app just appears to freeze....I have to contrl alt delete to get out :-(
I plugged in the HD, connected USB cable, power up. XP found the new USB 2.0
device . I left the jumper on cable select
