Computer loses connection often

From time to time, my computer will refuse to connect to webpages... Whenever this happens I can remedy the problem simply by loading a webpage three times, and on the third time it always opens.


I am using a four-port wireless Linksys router and Netgear USB wireless connection on my PC


What could cause this?
 
Do you have the latest firmware for your router? Also, have you tried clearing your browser's cache, and scanning for known spyware?
 
I have done all of those. I believe the problem probably is caused by me having four BitTorrent downloads open; although, those downloads are all going slow and four downloads isn't many...
