Optical = BenQ DW1640, or Nec ND-3540
Ram = If you aren't overclocking, get the free mobo that comes with 7800gt's, and get OCZ 2-3-2-5 ram. Otherwise if you are overclocking, Crucial ballistix z503's, with the dfi mobo :).
Monitor = Wait until black friday, there's a Samsung 19' LCD for $230 on Best Buy's ad.
Speakers = Altec Lansing MX5021's for music, or get some quality headphones like hd280's, or dt880's.

Thanks for the Optical drive advice:D I'm probably going to go with the Nec

What free mobo are you talking about...:? This is the 7800GT that I was going to get....

7800Gt evga

Can it OC the CPU at all? Even with that OCZ 2325 ram?

Black Friday?!?

I'm actually going to buy speakers last with what ever money I have left I think.. mabe.. I donno but those look good:D

Should I just get the: * DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D ATX AMD Motherboard---$115

and then if I want to add better ram I could....? Or what do you people suggest?

OH yeah! black friday is coming up! i forgot all about that...buy all your parts then. =) friday after thanksgiving if i recall. I'm not sure what free mobo deal he is talking about, but if you have any plans to OC i would suggest going with that DFI, its a very good performer from what i have seen.

Stick with all of your choices, and go with Crucial Ballistix if you plan on OC'ing, but otherwise, even if you're gonna do a little OC'ing, just go with 2x1GB Corsair Valueselect.
