Computer keeps restarting?

i recently upgraded to an axp 2500+ retail and upgraded my hs/f to a vantec aeroflow to drop the cpu temp. the temperature is now 42c idle down from 53 idle. the voltage for my ga-7n400 pro2 is 7.0v (voltage can't be lowered on this motherboard - trust me!) well anyway, like a week ago i also upgraded my case to an antec pro2 series server case with a 350w antec psu. with that said... is there any idea why my computer keeps randomly restarting? before i thought it was the heat, so i cooled it down signifigantly - obviously now i think it's something else. any suggestions?

sorry, i forgot to add that the fsb is at 166, i haven't touched it in the ways of overclocking yet - i need new ram first -.

uncheck the box for auto reboot in the startup and recovery tab if you're running XP and then check the event viewer for errors in the logs.

I have a similar problem. My computer randomly reboots once every 36 hrs. I have checked for stability (SuperPI 32M calculations and FFXI Bench looping) and my computer seems to be stable. The reboots are do to "mini dumps." This is not very discriptive and I am not quite sure what the problem is.

Dlt3c 1800+ @ 10.5x210 @ 1.75V
Mushkin PC3500 level 2 2x 512MB @ 2.8V
Abit NF7-S ver 2 NB @ 1.6V

Hey Tiamat, my best guess is it's related to the overclock, perhaps your PSU is bonking due to the heavy load or one of the components isn't holding up under the strain of the voltage, heat, or speed, combination thereof. I'd put everything to defaults and see if it still reboots every few days, then if it does I'd run memtest86+ on the ram for starters, HTH and post back if you pin it down 🙂

I have done so. Default settings = no restart. 200fsb = no restart. Its when i push it farther. Power supply is pretty nice.
