Computer Issue

My roomates computer just turned off on him while he was playing NFS:MW. When it turned off, we can't get it to boot back up. All the wires are connected, I put in my PSU, and still nothing. I know that if it was a RAM, CPU, Harddrive issue, then it would atleast start up to the ABIT (mobo type) loading screen and beep. However, when we go to turn it on the power LED on the case lights up for a fraction of a second and goes off.

Right now he's planning on buying a new Mobo but I just thought i'd get the help from you guys first. Just a quick any other problems it could be.
