Hi there, I am new here so I hope I posted this in the right place.
Yesterday my computer started doing very crazy things. Im using Windows 2000 pro on an older dell, ~800mhz P3.
When I log in, it takes a very long time for the start bar & wallpaper to come up. The mouse pointer will show up, but it doesn't have the hour glass to show that its working on finishing loging me in like it normally does. Normally it doesn't take too long, but now it is a few minutes
I can't copy & paste at all. hotkeys don't work and neither does selecting copy/paste from a right-click menu. Cant copy/paste text, but i can copy paste parts of images inside photoshop. very strange.
Dragging icons also doesn't work for some reason.
The only thing that i've done recently is install a TG16 emulator called Hu-Go!. I tried to uninstall it, but the add/remove programs window is empty. here is what it looks like:
http://void02.xs.to/pics/05281/add-remove-not-working.png
so i can't uninstall it.
These problems exist when i logout and login as a different user.
I really hope someone can help me figure out what is going on. im afraid to turn off the comp for fear it will get worse or something. probally irrational but...
