Computer Information Science Degree

I'm 23 and have no education out of high school . I want to make my life better so I'm thinking of pursuing my education . I wanted to know what are people with a CIS degree making ?

FYI: I made a bad choice in not going to college after high school . I was accepted to CalPoly Pomona and was in line for a partial scholarship. I got this job that I though was fine at the moment (17hr) when I was 18 and I decided I didn't want to go to school. It was a very bad choice but I don't think I'm too late to go to school especially with no debt .

you're not too late at all, go back to school and get your degree in CIS
I think it's a fairly useful degree and there's a lot of demand for it
I'm majoring in a similar major at a similarly ranked school and some of my classmates (who are in the same major) have summer internships at GE, IBM, JPMorgan, Accenture, Citigroup, etc. so there's definitely a demand for people like us

edit: forgot to mention the big 4 accounting firms (pwc, deloitte, ernst & young, and kpmg) have a lot of interest in IS type majors too

A degree is a wonderful thing to have but salary is all over the place like anyother profession.

Here in S. Florida one can make as low as $15 or so an hour (maybe lower?) to over $100 per hour. Average is about $40-65k for those with about 2-3 years exp and $30-50k for those fresh out of school. Become management and $75-100k is easy.
