Guys i need some help......my PC just got hijacked by some major spyware and i can't get rid of it any way i try....i tried Spybot S&D and Adaware and they both find some things but whenever i open up IE.....it gets hijacked and directed to some search engine and it tells me i need to go download some spyware solving programs......my anti virus program did find a trojan and deleted it but i still can't get rid of this IE hijack and when using IE it creates major popups also. Any suggestions about what i do becasue i've never had problems getting rid of it before but this is serious.....it will even crash some of my other programs at times.

Please help me out

I'm using firefox.....have been for awhile but i need IE for some things still and this hijack is slowing my system....any help?

besides adaware and spybot, run hijack this and spy sweeper. clear your internet history, files cookies, etc. also consider installing a firewall like zone alarm

go to microsoft web site and try the antispyware beta program they offer. If that doesnt work I suggest clean reinstall of windows to be safe.

yeah... ad-aware and spybot may not be the only tools you'll need. Use Spybot to check for any BHO's that may be coming back, anything in your startup that looks suspicious as well. Spyware is getting worse with each passing month... be careful..run for yer life ;-)
