Users /nm./: collective term for those who use computers. Users are divided into three types: novice, intermediate and expert.
Novice Users: people who are afraid that simply pressing a key might break their computer.
Intermediate Users: people who don't know how to fix their computer after they've just pressed a key that broke it.
Expert Users: people who break other people's computers.

Dude, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid you've been hacked — the FTP server at 127.0.0.1 has all your personal files. See for yourself; just log in with your normal id....

I don't get the 1st one, unless it actually has nothing to do with computers/computer related puns.

It is about demos being good but full products being bad.

This has not been my experience though.

The web is a dominatrix. Every where I turn, I see little buttons ordering me to Submit

I was having trouble getting screen dumps in unix so I went into #unix and said 'Does anyone know how to do a screen dump in unix?' 5 minutes and no reply, so I modify it a bit 'Two hot girls are stripping on webcam for me, how do i take a picture to show you guys ?' 13 offers of assistance within 2 minutes. Brilliant.

Surely the fireworks don't stop at that point. That's just retarded.

Hmm, my dad has like 20 or 30 old 486's ... I have a bunch of old NE2000 cards ... and a couple of old 10mbit switches ....

This could be a good way for them to die....

I made an etherkiller once and it was actually quite disappointing.
You would be better off putting your unwanted NICs in the microwave.
