computer has temp hangs

basicly my new core2duo system is the specs below...its overclocked and such and running great, but when i run intensive 3d games like fear or need for speed carbon, just a few minutes after running the game the computer freezes, and the last sound that came out of my speakers comes out over and over again like 20 times a second. It does this for about 10 seconds and then it resumes working without a single hitch for hours.... i figured maby its getting to hot but i checked my temps and they werent above 50...so i dont really know what swrong..any one have any ideas?
