Could be the board. Once I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out why a system would not boot, when the ON/OFF switch on the power supply had been bumped into the OFF position. One other time I had been mucking around inside, and had pulled loose one of the wires from the power switch leads to the mainboard. Maybe it's that simple (hopeful) ?
You really need to expound upon this a bit more. "Computer has no power" is not very descriptive. Have you tried the PSU with another computer? Is the outlet working?
I got a new one to try and nothing happened. What else can I say. There is no power. Whether or not the other psu works the board doesn't work with the new one. This is someones elses computer and I now have it at my house. Different outlet.
I found out one thing for sure the psu IS bad. I opened it up and wow. Burnt to a crisp. That still doesn't help because I tried a brand new one also with no luck.
