<stands up> Hi, I am Ulfwald, a computer hardware addict. I currently own the followinf systems:

1 Dual P III 800 with over 700 megs of ram
1 Dual P III 650 with 256 megs of RAM
1 Dual P Pro 200 with 64 megs of RAM
1 P II 400 over 300 megs of RAM
1 P II 233 128 megs of RAM
1 Celeron 333@416 128 megs of RAM
1 P II 333 with 128 megs of RAM

2 SMC 16 port 10/100 switches
And i am still trying to buy upgrades and more hardware.; Why can't I stop? Oh yeah, these forums are also addictive. Someone please stop the maddness! My wife is getting frustrated with me. She says I am married to the computers and not her.

one gigantic heatsink outside case on 85watt petier and small heatsink inside with two squarl fans blowing cold air to the cpu and graphics card.

geforce 256 64ddr has p3 heatsink on it with 60mm fan, also modded with homemade ram heatsinks-Died yesterday!

now got voodoo 5500 sucks my balls

2 power supplies
72x kenwood cd
winfast 4x sound card (pretty good got it for 20 bucks)
nice black spray tower painted case with switches for petier and secound power supply and led on the top bay.
black keyboard with white keys
generic fanbus with 4 case fans.
1 front case, 1 top, 1 back of cpu, and 1 behind the video card.

wilson prostaff classic 6.1 rocks!

(all heatsink laced with artic sliver and all cpus lapped to mirror finish)

Hi, I'm Yzzim, and am a computer hardware addict as well (only with a lot less money). I currently own the following systems:

Intel Celeron 566@950 w/192MB Memory
Intel Celeron 400@400 w/64MB Memory

In the process of building another one right now. I recently gave up paying the phone bill to buy more parts. $52 to get the phone reconnected and $45 in past bills. Oh well, I like the 2 hour drive home every weekend just to talk to my girlfriend...

Ummmm It is 0400 EST and i am still up working on systems, I am currently installing 52X CD ROMS into my systems, and trying to figur out how I am going to use the 32x I have left......................................................................................................

I can build a system with a 2 gig boot drive and mount the 3 cds in there and make it a cd juke box!!

Anybody here know if it will work?

i am not quite an addict. i used to be, but being a student makes you make sacrifices. i've got a athlon 1000 with 256mb ram, and a celeron 366 with 64mb ram. and a single 8 port 100 base t hub.

The only way to stop is to stop yourself. I have put all my computers into microatx cases. for two reasons. Microatx cases look nicer to me since they are smaller. The 2nd reason is they are harder to upgrade because there aren't nearly as many slots or bays, and i get discouraged from upgrading since its harder in the cramped space.


The other way to stop yourself is to get a girlfriend, which i am still working on. Then you can spend all your money on her, and be too broke to upgrade.
