ECS KN1 Extreme with an Athlon 64 3000+, 2x512mb Kingston PC 3200, 2x80gb Maxtor SATA drives.
When I turn the computer on, it just hangs at the green KN1 Extreme logo screen and won't advance. I believe that's the part where it would say verifying DMI pool, if the logo was disabled.
With no ram, the computer beeps like it should, and gives no video. With either stick it hangs. Unplugging all extraneous stuff from the motherboard doesn't change anything. This had happened a few times before, and I was able to just reset the CMOS with the jumpers, and the next boot would be fine. That doesn't seem to be working now though. Any thoughts on what's causing this?
Googling revealed someone else having the same problem with the same motherboard, which was my first instinct.
