Computer hangs after POST w/ USB devices connected

My computer hangs right after POST when USB devices are connected to my USB hub. If I disconnect some of the devices the computer boots fine. I figured this was a power issue so I got a powered USB hub, but I have the same problem (Windows does show the hub as self powered). Any ideas? If I spread everything across the multiple USB ports on the computer the problem goes away, but that's not very convenient. Devices are: Flash card reader (draws power from USB port), scanner (self powered), and printer (self powered). Thanks! BTW, Antec case and power supply, albatron motherboard.

1) Which hub is it?
2) How many devices you have hooked up?
3) Try pluggin them in one at a time, booting, and see if that still causes the conflict.

I've never used a hub before...but it does sound like a power issue.

Bah, damn USB. No solution from me. When I started using USB I had issues with Windows not loading anytime a device was connected, but would boot fine when disconnected, and both worked fine after Windows loaded and the device was reconnected.
