Hello everyone, I must bring up this topic once again, As far as Computer Gaming goes. Is Windows XP Pro Equivalent to Windows 2000 and Windows XP Home Edition equivalent to Windows 98SE? back in the days before the XP Editions. Comparing the os's in there own class of gaming speed,reliability and stability.

Which really is faster or better for Gaming, out of the two?

Thanks for the replies, I've always used XP PRO, I never used XP Home Ed. before.
 
Home and Pro are generally the same.
Pro just has a few extra features which make it better for the business user, but I can't remember what they are.
In terms of gaming performance, I think they are the same.
 
Lonyo said it. XP Home and XP Pro are just have different furnishings and add-ons which makes no difference for gaming.
 
ive always used pro but im sure home is the same as far as gaming goes. but xp all together is better for gaming than win2000 and win 98se
