What would you recommend getting ALL from newegg, for a whole computer (minus RAM, I already got that from crucial) for <$650. So far I have:

Looks like you've got it covered, but I don't see a NIC, mouse, keyboard, etc. Do you already have all those?

Its just the box, I already have moitor, etc. I think the mobo has a biult in NIC too.

That looks like a very nice rig. Make sure you have some case fans, a heatsink for your proc, and some arctic silver.

Yes, it does. It also has built in sound, so if you want you could use that instead of the Santa Cruz.

Yah I just ordered a whole computer from Newegg, minus monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. I ordered a heatsink/fan from SVCompucycle. They're the Newegg of cooling. :D Plus they ship USPS. :)

hmmm i might have linked them wrong, even tho i dont see how. yea i already have a heatsink/fan and arctic silver. I guess ill just buy it like I have it listed unless there is anything better....

save yourself $45 and get an XP1600, unlock it and you should be able to hit 1900 or 2000+ speeds

Also...don't forget case fans

A better mobo like what ? I really cant spare too much more $. Also, is it hard to unlock a 1600+ ? I already have a tbird 1.4 so it would seem like not too much of an upgrade.....

i agree. get the 1600+ and get a better mobo w/ the price difference.. like an Epox 8K3A

How hard is it to unlock a 1600+ tho ? I dont wanna go from a 1400 mhz cpu to another 1400 mhz cpu. and sglurker, I said at the top of my post that I already got the ram :).
