Computer freezing

Here are my stats:
win 2k pro. eidition
soyo sy6ba+III
celeron 733 PPGA
192 RAM
Gforce 2 Gts

Whenever I open up a program my computer freezes just after a few seconds of playing.
Im not overclocking and I have the newest release of drivers from nVidia's website.
I had to update my bios and add a 733 mhz from a 400 mhz Celeron. Does the new bios or celeron have anything to do with my problem?

RAM is at least PC100?
might also want to try previous versions of nvidia's drivers...

I solved my problem
The slocket wasnt set corectly, it was set to coppermine 256k, 100hz cache. My friend said that the jumpers dont need to be set on the slocket, i thought so too, but the problem is that either Intel has fixed overclocking on some new chips and won't allow any overclocking with bus speeds, or that the video card and cpu were running differently than they should have and locked up on an error.

update the thread as solved...please...this can help someone down the road if they search for a like topic without reading every thread...
