Computer freezes...

This has been happening ever since I've started using my new G7 mouse (wireless). The computer will start up and then the monitor gets scrambled.

Is it because I have used the max power from my PSU? I have a Dell Dimension 4600 running on the stock PSU with an ati x800 platinum edition, printer, wireless adapter, and the occasional ipod and digital camera use.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could possibly be that. I would try reinstalling all software related to anything you mentioned above.

If the USB jack is plugged in but not used, it's not drawing power, correct? For example, an ipod USB connection.

USB, unless powering like a usb hub with alot on it, really does not draw that much power out.

But wouldn't running a lot of them add up?
