I built my computer just over a year ago, and it's had this problem since the get go which I'm only now trying to address. I can use two monitors for normal tasks with no problems, but when I have video on the secondary monitor and am playing a game on the primary, I will get BSOD every half hour-hour or so. I couldn't screenshot it obviously but I managed to get a picture during the ~10second window before the computer restarts

The primary monitor is using the hdmi out of my graphics card, and the secondary is using dvi. Thanks for any help! Also if any additional information would help, just let me know.

From the sounds of it seems like your pc was trying to recover your registry when it crashed.

I would do a full checkdisk(chkdsk) 3 times in a row. Yeah I know sucks but this will help to clean away and fix those errors.

Your pc is a dell yes? If so then also at reboot hit F12 and arrow down to diagnose and let it do an extended scan.

Reply back here with any errors.
