Computer FREEZES up

I was running an XP2500+ and installed a new XP3200+ on an Asus A7n8x-e Deluxe mobo. Now when I'm playing full screen games, the computer FREEZES up and my screen goes blank... like theirs no video feed. BUT the computer doesn't shut down or anything.. it keeps running until i restart it. It has only had problems when I've been playing Full Screen games.

Is this a CPU problem??
