Computer Freezes - to hot??

My computer freezes up when the processer zone(intel active monitor) get around 47c. I had problems before playing Medal of Honor and UT2003 freezing up and I thought it might be the heat. But yesterday the weather got warm here and the compter temp. went up and the computer kept freezing up.

I have a 2.4g, 512 memory, radeon 9000 pro video card.

It looks like I have 3 fans(blowing out) and 1 fan on the motherboard.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sounds like a heat problem to me. What kind of heatsink is on the chip? Also, what is the flow pattern of air in your case?

According to Intel's datasheet on the P4 you're actually well under design temps see here:
Datasheet
You want to go down and take a look at Table 5.
Another poster had issues with random lock ups and he had his cpu replaced but it still didn't completely fix the problem. Try and run one of the memory testers on your system to check your memory.
memtest86 is good just takes a long time so start it before you go to bed.
Good luck
