Wondering if anyone has a quick solution for this? Here's the basic scenario where my problem ocurrs: Only if I'm playing several songs in winamp where I'm away from the computer (say go to sleep w/music looping) does the computer completely freeze up and need to be restarted. I'm not sure if there's an error between winamp 5.xx and my screensaver or something else. I haven't really tested to see how long it usually takes for the lockup to occur, but I'd estimate at around 30 minutes of inactivity. Never had this problem before and I'm clueless as to where I should even start my troubleshooting.

Here's my specs since maybe there's a hardware issue?

Shuttle Reflexion SB61G2R Special Edition (http://us.shuttle.com/specs2.asp?pro_id=396)
XP Pro
2x 512 Kingston DDRAM

ATI 9800pro AIW

yeah it sounds like your hard drive may be cycling down. check the power options in the control panel and check that thats not the case.

K, I looked in the power options, but what exactly should I be looking for? Right now my power scheme is set at "Home/Office Desk" where nothing powers down after a period. Other than that nothing seems to be check for any other tabs.
