Computer freezes, locks up temporarily or blue screen only when gaming

My computer has been randomly freezing / entering blue screen for a few months now.
This mostly happens when I play a specific game, such as Blade and soul, but I had random error happening with other games as well, such as league of legends.

During Blade and Soul, I tend to crash, freeze, lock up, or enter blue screen of death whenever I try to arena only.
In League Of Legends, eventually, I couldn't open up the client at all to enter the game. [fixed using client repair].

my old fixes where Client repairs, or reinstalling my OS [ which fixes it only for a while, same goes for client repair.]

For the most part, I can play my games with no problems, but I recently just had a game yesterday with league receiving two bug splats in a row. I fear that eventually I can't play games at all without having random errors, freezes, lock-ups, or blue screens.

I thought it was the OS, but I lost count on how many times I cleaned/ fresh installed [this was my best fix btw]

MEM test tells me my ram isn't bad, I even bought new ram to test it out and the same problem occurs, so I returned them.

I have stress-tested my GPU before and it worked fine. I will redo it later today, but I don't think it is my GPU.
[Tested it again, no problems found]

I did a test on my hard drive [Short Self test = Failure] and got one error ONCE, but later I redid it a few times n didn't gain any more
errors so I don't know if it's really my hard drive.

I don't know if my power supply is the problem, or my hard drive or my motherboard....
I did have a minor issue with the power supply when I first got it. It did not want to power up my system unless I plugged my fans directly to the motherboard [meaning I couldn't use the power supply's fan connectors], but I don't know if that really means anything. I did order a new power supply to test it out once it arrives.

In the mean time...
Any ideas on what it could be?
any thoughts on what I can do to further test the problem?
What component should i buy to replace / fix this problem?

thanks for your time!

I had similar issues which started when i installed a specific game(BF Hardline), first with crashes and BSODs only while in game, later it would happen anywhere between web browsing, sometimes even at idle windows. All this after 2 months of running without any problems whatsoever.

It turned out that, in spite of passing memtest86 with zero erros it was one stick of RAM that was causing the instability and after i removed it i had not a single crash again.

Id first check if temperatures are in line with HWinfo and make sure that GPU drivers are up to date. If temps are ok and issues persist you can try running the mentioned games with each stick of RAM separately(check motherboard manual to see which RAM socket must be used with single stick).

Besides that you can try removing GPU and try running with integrated graphics. Test CPU with OCCT. I never had issues with hard disk so can't really tell you if it may be responsible for the crashes or how to troubleshoot it.

GPU temps are fine andn runs fine, but I will try your Hwinfo software.
drivers r up to date too.

like you said about the ram, it could be so, But not the ram itself.
I bought new ram before and I still crashed [so I returned them of course]
I believe it could be the motherboard's ram slot? I remember that the MB wouldn't boot with a single ram on the last SLOT only...
Also, i am required to use that slot when I use both of my rams together.
[I will check this again later today and update you on what happens to make sure]
Do you think this Idea of it being the Motherboard is off or am I on the right track?
Also...
The only reason i bought a new power supply was to test it out because I found a site stating that my power supply is really bad, so I bought a tier 1 power supply to make sure that my system is fully receiving the power it needs to run [ will update once it arrives].

Thank you for your info, ill be checking my pc about this soon

You have a really cheap power supply (and I don't just mean the price). What are you doing to replace it with? Whether or not it fixes your current issue, the one you have could nuke your computer some day, so there is no reason to keep using it.

But, based on your symptoms, it probably is your power supply, so I don't think you will have to worry about the feeling that you wasted money on a new one (as long as it's a good brand). The problem with the cheap ones is that they cannot maintain stable voltages when dishing out a decent amount of power. So when your R7 250 and Kaveri and pulling max power, they aren't getting a full 12 volts from the Ultra, and your games crash.

The good news is that your system isn't drawing too much power anyway, so a quality unit rated at 500 watts would be plenty.

Let me say this to start it all off... Lmfao "could nuke your computer some day" ahahah is soo funny cuze its true, sadly xD

Thats really good to hear!!! i am replacing it with this

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IKDETOW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

It was listed with the tier 1 power supplies and going by what you have said it could really end my problems, I'm hoping...

I have noticed that some days I get smooth getting, other days I get minor errors, and some days just flat out problems {crashing etc} So yeah, most likely its power supply!
Let me know what you think about this one I just linked, just to make sure!
