thanks a lot for the help guys, and Thanks especially to jumpen for the drivers, been looking for new ones for a while
 
400W is a ton of power. I've ALWAYS gone cheap on power supplies and NEVER had a problem. My last system, which was running a cd rom, dvd burner, and three hardrives was on a 250 W power supply with absolutely no problems. It COULD be your PS, but i'd highly doubt it.
